As evolved building structures, many modern hospital grounds are rather confusing for visitors and patients, and orientation is difficult:

The locandis solution for the hospital area is based on GPS signals outdoors and on our Bluetooth 5.1 locators indoors, which we have manufactured to our specifications. They are available in a battery-powered version and as a locator that is integrated into the LED lighting system and is therefore maintenance-free.

We provide our navigation solution as a whitelabel app, and we can also integrate it as an SDK into an existing clinic app.

The ambulatory area is of great importance in many clinics. Here, therapy plans can be transmitted to patients via the digital patient card as an app. The patient can be informed of any changes or postponements in the therapy plan that become necessary at short notice, or of any room changes. There is enormous potential here for simplifying processes and avoiding waiting times, especially since information is available as to whether a patient has even reached the clinic premises yet.

On a hospital campus with premises covering several hundred thousand square meters, various trades are engaged daily in construction work, repairs, maintenance and overhauls. The employees of these external companies also require precise navigation to a specific building or room where the work is to be carried out.
